With easy access to quality jobs and education, ever-growing retail options, and strong public services and community, it’s no wonder Oviedo is a growing and sought-after Central Florida community. LeCesse Development Corp. will soon be helping more people find housing in the supply-constrained submarket with a new multi-family project: Oviedo Commons.
The 197-unit project consists of four, four-story surface parked buildings with more than 12,000 square feet of retail space located at 1380 Alafaya Trail. The location puts Oviedo Commons less than10 minutes from the University of Central Florida, one of the largest undergraduate universities in the county. Residents are also close to thousands of job opportunities, including with Siemens and Lockheed Martin.
Publix, Aldi and Sprouts are less than a half mile from the project, and residents will have access to dozens of retailers in the area, including with Oviedo on the Park just four minutes away.
But residents of Oviedo Commons won’t have to go far to find community. The project includes a clubhouse and amenities, including stylish common areas, a fully equipped fitness center, co-working spaces, a resort-style pool, grill stations and a dog park.
Unit interiors will feature custom cabinetry, wood plank-style flooring, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, smart features and more.
The project is expected to open in early 2028.
The architect is Preston Partnership. The general contractor is First Florida. The civil engineer is Highland Engineering. Financing is provided by Community Bank and Five Star Bank.
